This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit the public Axera marketing website, request a demo or contact our team.
Last updated: 23 August 2026
Scope and who we are
This policy applies to the public marketing website at axera.uk. It does not describe personal data handled inside a customer’s Axera ERP application. For the role of the customer and Axera when the product is used, see our product privacy notice.
Axera is a trading name of EJ Global Limited, company number 17231331, registered in England and Wales. EJ Global Limited is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. We are based in Greater Manchester, United Kingdom.
You can contact us about privacy at hello@axera.uk.
Information we collect
Demo requests
When you request a demo, we collect the information you choose to provide:
- your name and company;
- your email address and/or telephone number;
- the Axera topic, package or approximate user count you selected; and
- your optional message about what you would like to improve.
Messages to us
If you email our sales, support or general enquiries addresses, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any other information or attachments you choose to include.
Technical information
Our systems process ordinary connection and request information needed to deliver and secure the site. This can include your IP address, the page and request method, response status and timing, and diagnostic request identifiers. IP addresses are also used to limit abusive traffic.
We receive demo and contact information directly from you. Technical information is generated when your browser communicates with the website. Please do not include sensitive personal information in a demo request or ordinary email unless we specifically ask for it.
Providing a name, company and at least one contact method is necessary for us to handle a demo request; without them, we cannot arrange the demo. The other demo fields are optional. There is no legal or contractual obligation to submit a demo request.
How and why we use your information
| What we do | Why we do it | UK GDPR lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Review and respond to a demo request | To understand your organisation’s needs, arrange a walkthrough and discuss appropriate next steps. | Steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to prospective customers. |
| Reply to sales, support and general enquiries | To answer your message, provide requested help and keep a record of the conversation. | Our legitimate interests in communicating with people who contact us and supporting our services; contract where the enquiry relates to an existing agreement. |
| Operate, troubleshoot and protect the website | To deliver pages, prevent abuse, diagnose faults and maintain the security and reliability of our service. | Our legitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable website, and legal obligation where applicable. |
| Maintain necessary business records | To establish or defend legal claims and meet accounting, regulatory or other legal requirements. | Legal obligation and our legitimate interests in protecting our business. |
A demo request is not an automatic subscription to general marketing campaigns. We may follow up about your request and, where the law permits and after an internal review, about closely related Axera services that may be relevant to your business. You can object or opt out at any time by replying to the message or contacting us.
We do not use this marketing-site information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
How long we keep information
We keep demo requests and correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to manage and follow up the enquiry, maintain appropriate business records, and meet legal, accounting or dispute-resolution needs. The period depends on the nature and status of the enquiry and whether it develops into a customer relationship.
Security and diagnostic logs are kept for a shorter operational period unless we need to retain a particular record to investigate an incident, prevent abuse or meet a legal requirement. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.
Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances and the lawful basis, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of your personal information;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- ask us to delete or restrict the use of your information;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- object at any time to the use of your information for direct marketing; and
- receive certain information in a portable format.
You can object at any time to direct marketing. You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interests; we will stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue or need the information for legal claims.
These rights are not absolute and exemptions may apply. To exercise a right, email hello@axera.uk. We may ask for information to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
Contact, complaints and changes
If you have a privacy question or concern, please contact EJ Global Limited, trading as Axera, at hello@axera.uk. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern directly.
You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. You can find current contact details and complaint guidance on the ICO website.
